Absolutely loved The Mutiara, beautiful food, people and garden, would definatly return and location was great

We extended our stay at Mutiara Bali Resorts because it was a lovely friendly boutique hotel. Breakfast was always nice and not buffet style and there was a heap of choice on the menu. We stayed in a duluxe room which was very spacious and always clean. My hubby specially loved the outdoor shower - I have never seen such a huge bathroom. The staff were friendly and attended to any requests very promptly. the free internet use in the lobby was handy. Located in a good spot near alot of nice restaurants and shops highly recommend for a quiet stay and would certainly return.

Overall the package was alright. The cleanliness is rated as 6 because the room was very stuffy when we entered for the first time. We were welcome by a strong smell of dampness and humidity in the air that made it rather uncomfortable. the bathroom is spacious and nice but not clean enough for our standard!! Another "disability" of the hotel is when it rains, there is a rather heavy downpouring of rain-water from the roof which further makes walkway impossible to use without getting heavily drenched (at that specific corner before leaving the row of chaletsm is where the malfunctionned or inexinstant piping is found). The service for breakfast was slow due to just one person handling everything. However, everything was pleasent due to the well-mannered and polite attitude of the personnel.

I will recommend Mutiara Bali Resort and Villa to relatives and friends. Will stay there again when i intend to travel to Bali. This my 2nd stay in Mutiara Bali Resort and Villa.

My family and I love the outdoor jacuzzi very much. It's very relaxing too especially in the morning....very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bathroom especially the shower room is so unique. It's like we are staying in a spa room. The hotel van service was very good. We were greeted at the airport and brought to our van and was given a bottle of iced mineral water and cold towel. How would you feel with a cold towel on your face with the hot weather like this? The hotel food is also very nice. The chilli is spicy too. I love the Balinese Fried Rice and Fried Noodles. The price is also reasonable. The breakfast is also very special - ala carte style.Never experienced before. I have recommended Mutiara Bali to my friends. Hopefully they enjoyed it too. Thank you to all the staff.

A hidden treasure. Great value for this hidden treasure. Room rates quite reasonable for the quality of the facility and the great service. Quiet and peaceful, away from the tourist noise, yet only 5-10 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and beach. Lovely facility. Breakfast selection was lovely. Pool quiet, clean, and nice.

The breakfast not buffut style. No more choice. around 15-20 mins take a taxi to Kuta. It is not so good for shopping and eating outside. Need to provide a shuttle bus.

I would highly recommend Mutiara Bali Boutique in Seminyak for Fantastic value for money and service. Mutiara is in a good location away from the hussel and bussel... Yet Seminyak shopping is a stroll away.. and a taxi into Kuta is not expensive. It is not right on the beach.. but you are not paying top dollar for that kind of location. I was suprised how nice the hotel was, in comparison to the price... I loved staying here. Clean, relaxing environment, afforable and enjoyable spa on site.. great service and yummy breakfast!

Mutiara had a good range of tv channels but did not have the Australian tv channel. In addition there was no tv teletext (subtitles) service.

I really missed a babychair in the restaurant. If you wanna eat with a baby on your lap it's not handy. A baby chair isn't a big investment but for the parents a lot easier. The service in the restaurant was good if he was there but when the girls were there it was a mess. The rest was good.

western food interpretation and . preparation was pretty bad my only real complaint., the indonesian meal i had in my room was actually quite nice.

The hotel is really nice and well located, near from all interest areas and still quiet. Staff is nice and helping. Rooms are nice and clean. However, bathrooms in superior rooms could be a bit nicer..

A pleasant, unpretentious place. We had a very comfortable Superior room which was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and a well-appointed bathroom. The pool is good though the area surrounding is too tight for gardens and greenery we have seen elsewhere. The restaurant is limited without a poolside bar although the food is reasonably good. They were wonderfully obliging about dropping us to the beach or to town, which is a major plus.

Hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful, we unfortunately got our hotel key stolen, with name and number of hotel room, the personnel quickly made sure all locks were changed – I will recommend the Hotel to anyone – single rooms are very nice, and the pool villa is magnificent and perfect for 2 couples or a family. The Breakfast was very good, and it was possible to order a variety of different breakfast menus

Mutiara Bali is a lovely hotel Cosy and peaceful ambience.I booked a family room with maroon walls and is clean and comfortable loking out to the swimming pool. The toilet was spacious with a open concept bathroom.The staffs are very friendly and helpful.As commented by most people the breakfast in simple a la carte.This is one thing they must improve.Other than that i loved this hotel and i will come back again.The road is a bit lonely at night but day time is fine.There are a few nice Itallian and other restaurants outside.Seminyak is less busier than Kuta.U can always take a blue bird taxi which runs by meter if you need to go to Kuta.So i will strongly recommend this hotel to friends for a peaceful enviroment

Room was a good size and overlooked the pool. We had an issue with ants the first day we arrived but after asking for the room to be cleaned, they disappeared for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was not great to start with - the food was often cold, juices didn't turn up and they had no fresh milk (we saw others buying their own and bringing it to breakfast) but after speaking to the management a couple of times, you could see they tried to improve and by the end of the stay, all the food arrived at the same time and was hot! We even managed to get fresh milk! The comments here sound really bad, but the hotel is reasonable. If they maintain the level of service we had at the end of our stay, I would happily go back at stay at the Mutiara again. I would also recommend it to people who want to stay in a reasonable priced hotel which has friendly staff, as long as they understand you wont get 5* service

Mutiara Bali Boutique Resort & Villa is situated in a very nice and quite area in Seminyak, far away from the commonly crowded Kuta area. Many great bars and restaurants of various cuisine are just 10-15 minutes away. Plus you can hire a motorbike at around 50,000Rp/day so you can have a half hour ride straight off to Kuta or even further. The hotel had a balinese design with a small but beautiful pool. The deluxe room was spacious with a big open air bathroom which we really enjoyed. You can lie in your bathtub while listening to winds blowing through bamboo and other trees. The restaurant serves good breakfast and dinner. The staff was very welcome and always with a smile. The spa was good but a bit small and close to the pool so you can hear the noise. Regarding the cleanliness we were totally satisfied but it is still worth mentioning that an open air bathroom means sometime there will be bugs wandering, not that many though. The only one hiccup in our trip was that we were only informed about the Nyepi Day (New Year Day in a 465-day-Balinese calendar) at the check-in counter when we had arrived. And Nyepi Day means that no fire, no travelling, no entertainment/pleasure from 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. We had to stay in the hotel the whole day which was definitely not a part of our initiary. It would have been much nicer if balihotels had informed us in advance or had offered some amendments. For the value for money, we'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone except young singles seeking lots of actions and crowds.

Hotel is very nice but I was not happy with some things. WiFi should be free. Breakfast should be better and should be buffet. If I want pool towel I must go all the way to reception. Why towels are not next to the pool? Bathroom is little bit dark and one more light should be good. Just little more effort and better management would make this hotel really great.

I was very impressed with the Mutiara Bali. It is a perfect island paradise sanctuary. The staff was incredibly helpful. Thank you for all your help Suarta! The food was always tasty. And the massages were relaxing and professional. I learned that it was better to ask the hotel for transport to places than to try to walk. Although this was not impossible. Maybe next time I'll rent a motor bike. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Mutiara. TA from USA

The hotel is rather peacful and well maintained. The staff is warm and helpful. The location of the hotel is away from Kuta and you would need to get on a cab to get to there. Also the hotel is a bit obscure and some cab drivers were unsure of the place but this was a problem they could resolve quickly. I do agree that the breakfast menu need some updating. Other than that I had a pleasant stay

My friend and I enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the Mutiara Bali. Great location (close to Seminyak’s most happening hangouts), good price (US$40/night nett), and friendly staff. Renovation works by the pool side was just outside my room and it was very noisy. Had to stay outdoors till end day, even escaping to spa didn't help much

This is a great small hotel in the fashionable Seminyak area. It has a lovely pool with well appointed rooms. The breakfast was excellent. While I didn't stay in a Villa I did inspect a one bedroom which was very nice. The hotel is around 500m from the beach so may not suit those who like the surf. The hotel also has bicycles which quests can use for a couple of hours free. Overall I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The service staff we excellent but I think you are shot staffed at the reception area. The Pool is very clean and so are the rooms which are large and very comfortable. You could improve on your TV sets as the new LED Screens are reasonable cheap. Transportation from the hotel could be better organized. A good local breakfast would have been fine as well.
